History
Refuge Clothing began in April 2000 by Melanie Pritchard as a way to promote Christian messages on attractive, yet modest, t-shirts. Melanie's desire was to provide hip clothing with positive expressions to those hungering for something more than what is being sold at the malls!
Refuge has at times had over 25 shirt styles offered, but recently downsized to offer just their pro-life line for the time being!
When Refuge started, it was the first Catholic t-shirt company to offer feminine, ladies Christian t-shirts. This landed the company's t-shirts in many national Christian stores and conferences! It is great to see that 10 years later, many other complanies' are offering women's styles as the norm instead of the novelty!
